Playing means learning. We provide babies and toddlers with what they need: a safe world, rich with opportunities to actively explore, with books, songs, and a lot of listening and responding to their vocalisations and words. Learning to play with other children but also learning how to play a game, how to excite yourself or try something new. At kindergarten ‘t Knuffeltje in Delft we have an extensive activity program with pedagogically-based social activities, but also a lot of time for the children to discover themselves. In addition, we aim to give our children a good basis for the next phase in life by paying close attention to the emerging literacy and numeracy. We believe in endless potential in every child and that our role is to encourage and support.
